St Charles Athletics FC
A hard-fought win for Arise & Shine. They survived a St Charles fightback to claim three valuable points and tighten their grip on the top half of Group A. St Charles, despite pulling one back, could not find the equaliser and slip further from contention.

H2H Sports Int’l
Simario FA recorded their best result of the season — a convincing clean-sheet win over H2H Sports Int’l. A statement performance from a side that has been searching for consistency all campaign.

Al-Hamdan FC
A cagey, goalless encounter in what was a tactically disciplined affair. Both sides will feel they left something on the pitch, but in the grand scheme of the group, this draw changes little for either team.
OOA FA

Rebirth Sports FA
The match of the weekend — and it lived up to every bit of the hype. In a top-of-the-table showdown between two sides level on 16 points going in, Rebirth Sports FA did it the hard way and did it brilliantly. Captain John Oluwaseyi, who has been in irresistible scoring form all season, once again proved the difference. Rebirth go top of Group B and send a clear message to the rest of the competition: they mean business.
Group C
High-scoring action — FC Ablaze and Noah Ark impress
Noah Ark FC

Lofty Skills SA
Six goals and end-to-end action — Noah Ark FC ran out commanding winners in a Group C thriller. Lofty Skills showed spirit by scoring twice, but Noah Ark’s firepower was simply too much to contain. A four-goal haul moves them firmly up the table.
FC Ablaze were ruthless. A dominant away performance saw them shut Adhoc FA out completely and score three — reinforcing their place at the summit of Group C. With 15 points already banked, Ablaze are setting the pace at the top and look like the team to beat in this group.
Group D
Draws galore as Group D stays wide open
Awoniyi FA

Rehoboth FC
A point apiece in what was a competitive and evenly matched contest. Awoniyi FA will feel they had enough chances to win it, while Rehoboth FC showed resilience to earn a share of the spoils. The Group D title race stays delicately balanced.
Amuludun FC

Young Boys FC
Group D leaders Amuludun FC were held by an enterprising Young Boys FC side. Amuludun remain top but will be frustrated to drop two points at home. Young Boys FC continue to punch above their weight — they are a side not to be underestimated going into the final weeks of the season.
Week 8 has reshuffled the picture right across the league. Rebirth Sports FA’s statement win over OOA FA is the headline result — the top of Group B belongs to them now. FC Ablaze march on in Group C, while Group D refuses to be separated. Week 9 cannot come soon enough.
