Inter Lagos and Ikorodu City left it late to confirm their status in the NNL playoffs. Both teams secured their qualification on the last day of the NNL season with Inter thrashing Ijebu United 2-o at the Legacy Pitch Surulere while Ikorodu City cruised to victory against Giant Brillars at the Onika Stadium.
Three teams will be flying the flag of Lagos State at the NNL playoffs that will be held in Enugu. Madiba, Inter Lagos and Ikorodu City.
Other teams who secured qualifications are El-kanemi Warriors, Sporting Supreme, Nasarawa United, Beyond Limits, and Sokoto United.
